Technical Survey on Mohawk Self Insurance underway

The Kahnaw�:ke Labor Office is pleased to announce that consultation on Mohawk Self Insurance (MSI) is underway in the form of a technical survey through Kahnaw�ke�s PlanIT Consulting & Communications.

PlanIT is conducting an independent and neutral survey on the topic of MSI as part of consultation for the proposed Kahnaw�:ke Occupational Safety & Health Law, which entered the Community Decision Making Process (CDMP) on November 12, 2019.

Due to Covid-19, other forms of consultation have been discontinued. The results of the technical survey are not binding but will be a key resource for the CDMP process, where any final decisions are made. Anyone on the Kahnaw�:ke Kanien�keh�:ka Registry is eligible to participate in the CDMP process.

Technical surveys are done through random selection. If you are called by PlanIT, your participation would be greatly appreciated.
