Spring Community Meeting agenda announced

The Office of the Council of Chiefs wishes to inform Kahnawakehronon of the agenda for the upcoming Spring Community Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 7-10pm at the Golden Age Club.

The agenda is as follows:

  • Land Allotments
  • Update: Signing of the Kahnaw�:ke-Canada Relations Memorandum of Understanding
  • Update: Signing of Hertel Hydro Line Agreement with Hydro-Quebec
  • Update: Public Safety / Kahnaw�:ke Peacekeepers Highway Patrol Division
  • Open Discussion

Additionally, a second Community Engagement Kiosk will be held in the Services Complex Lobby on Friday, May 17, from 11am-2pm.
