Information Management Unit
 The primary goal of the MCK Information Management is to ensure the MCK computer network and computer operations run smoothly and to provision the necessary services to allow our clients to accomplish their daily work with minimal disruption. We are also involved in the longer term planning and goal setting to assist MCK departments in their information management projects.
Our operational structure is:
- Network Operations –management of network infrastructure; maintenance of personal computing devices; support of back-end computer systems
- Systems Integration and Development – maintenance of existing in-house software products; assistance in new software evaluations; integration of third-party software products; the maintenance of enterprise databases
- Records Management – management of MCK archives; the setting of policy on the creation, management, and classification of departmental operational documents
Our staff responsibilities are two-fold:
- To manage and periodically update our existing services;
- To evaluate and accommodate new technologies suitable to our client’s needs.
The process is never-ending and is what makes our jobs so rich and satisfying.
