New Stop Signs & Crosswalk

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like to advise all Kahnawa�kehr�:non that a new three way Traffic Stop and Crosswalk will be installed on Wednesday, September 15th on the St. Isidore Rd (Route 207) at the Catholic Cemetery intersection.

The Stop Signs and Crosswalk will allow for pedestrians utilizing the walking path to cross the St. Isidore Road (Route 207) safely. Pedestrians are asked to use extreme caution when crossing the new Crosswalk.

Though it is not MCK standard policy to publicly announce new signage, the new walking path and vehicle speeds on Route 207 could result in a dangerous situation. Drivers are reminded that all road signage must be obeyed and will be enforced by the Peacekeepers
