Texas Road Closed November 29 � December 10

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform all Kahnawa�kehr�:non that a section of Texas Road will be completely closed from Monday, November 29th until Friday, December 10th, weather permitting.

The Capital Construction Crew will close the road Monday to Friday both weeks, beginning at the entrance into Lot 106 to install a water & sewer main in the area. The road will re-open on the weekend. Residents living in this area are being asked to utilize Route 207 or Indian Way to gain access to their homes.

Residents in the area may be inconvenienced with dust and noise from trucks, equipment and detours. Proper road signalization will be installed to warn of the construction limits. Your patience and cooperation throughout this project is greatly appreciated. Please contact the Technical Services Office at 450-635-1016 if further information or special requests are needed.
