Kahnaw�:ke Trades Qualifications Program call for candidates

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke is inviting community members to participate in the Kahnaw�:ke Trades Qualifications Committee, as indicated in the Kahnaw�:ke Trades Qualifications Program. The Committee will consist of not less than three (3) members and will be responsible to verify the competencies of workers who would become eligible to work on Part B of the Mercier Bridge repair job.

Eligibility requirements: two of the members must be at least twenty-eight (28) years of age and have a minimum of ten (10) years experience in a trade. The other seat is open to any adult community member. All must be members of the Kanien�keh�:ka of Kahnaw�:ke as defined by the Kahnaw�:ke Membership Law.

This public notice will be posted to the community for ten (10) calendar days and ends 4pm on Friday, January 21st, 2011.

Packages containing the Kahnaw�:ke Trades Qualifications Program documents are available at the reception desk of the Social Development Unit, located at the Services Complex.

Please submit Letters of Intent to the Social Development Unit to the attention of the Director.
