Closures on Mercier Bridge

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform road users that the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) will require closures on the Mercier Bridge to allow for preparation of Phase B of the Mercier Bridge Rehabilitation Project.

The following closures are in effect from 10pm until 6am on Wednesday, January 19th and Thursday, January 20th:

• The Kahnaw�:ke bound span will be completely closed. As a result, traffic will be redirected to one lane of the Montreal bound span.
  * At 5am on both scheduled days, Montreal bound motorists will have access to the normal two lanes during the morning rush. *
• The Airlie onramp (Kahnaw�:ke bound) will also be closed throughout this time.

These closures will allow for surveying work to be carried out.

Motorists are urged to use any of the other South Shore bridges throughout this time.
