Updated notice to Kahnaw�:ke�s Bell Canada customers regarding tax exemption status

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been advised by Bell Canada that Bell will be informing certain customers in Kahnaw�:ke that it will continue the process of confirming their tax exemption status.

The people being contacted are those who did not respond to the initial notice that was mailed to customers/subscribers in October/November.

Eligible customers are asked to provide Bell Canada with a completed Tax Exemption Certificate Request form, as well as a copy of their Certificate of Indian Status (�Band Card�). Customers/ subscribers will be able to send these to Bell via e-mail, facsimile (�fax�) or mail.

Those affected will be contacted directly by Bell.

The MCK is issuing this notice as a service to the community.
