Date set for next Cycle of Ceremonies Workshop

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke�s Language and Culture Training center would like to inform the community that the next workshop in the Kanien�keh�:ka A�hsera/Cycle of Ceremonies Workshop Series will be held this Friday, 6 Onerahtohk�:wa/May at the MCK Training and Culture Center, on the first floor of the K103 Building.

This workshop, entitled Shonkwahts�:�a Kar�hkwa, Onkhihs�tha Enhni�tar�tie & Entsitewathehtahser�n:ni (the Sun, Moon and Opening the Gardens Ceremonies), will be held from 1 to 4pm.

This series of workshops aims to inform participants of the various traditional ceremonies and festivals conducted throughout the Kanien�keh�:ka ceremonial calendar year. They also aim to encourage participants to attend these various Longhouse ceremonies/festivals with confidence.
