MCK issues statement regarding complaint

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke is informing the community about an issue regarding Chief Carl Horn.

Chief Horn was a guest on the K103 Partyline Talkshow on Friday, 10 Ohiar�:ha/June, where he made comments regarding two business partners of Mr. Wayne Rice, accusing them of taking advantage of the tax status of Mr. Rice on Part �A� of the Mercier Bridge repair project.

The two partners, Roger Vallee and Robert Brodeur, sent a letter to Chief Horn asking for an apology/retraction, which he has refused.  

As there is no confirmation or proof that such accusations have any basis in fact, Chief & Council cannot support the comments and are urging Chief Horn to reconsider his statements.
