Summer Community Meeting agenda announced

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that the tentative agenda has been set for the upcoming Summer Community Meeting, which will be held next Tuesday, 16 Sesk�ha/August at the Golden Age Club.

Agenda items will include gaming; an update on the Supreme Court taxation decision and its effects on the Caisse Populaire of Kahnawake and its members; issues related to the Mercier Bridge; land allotments and open discussion (time permitting).

The issue of community security will also be discussed in light of a recent home invasion/robbery of a community elder.

The meeting will start at 7pm.
