Mercier Bridge: upcoming roadwork closures

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke has been informed by the Minist�re des Transports of upcoming road and lane closures that are necessary to carry out repair work on the Mercier Bridge.

The following closures are scheduled (see attached map for details):

Closure of LaSalle Boulevard from Tr�sor-Cach� to Lafleur Avenue for repairs to gusset plates
- Wednesday, August 24th at midnight until 11:59pm Sunday, August 28th.

Closure of Kahnaw�:ke bound lane on the accessible span of the Mercier Bridge for paving work
- Sunday, August 28th from 3pm until 8pm (only Montreal bound traffic during this time)



Reminder: The following traffic configuration schedule has been put in place following the complete closure of the Kahnaw�:ke-bound bridge earlier this month:

�    Weekdays
-    5am to 9am - two lanes to Montreal-bound.
-    9:45am to 2:15pm - one lane each direction.
-    3pm to 7pm - two lanes to Kahnaw�:ke-bound.
o    7:45pm to 4:15am - one lane each direction.

�    Weekends & Holidays
-    One lane each direction (except for Sunday�s closure)

Please note, during direction changes both available lanes will be completely closed.
