Mercier Bridge: upcoming closures

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke has been informed by the Minist�re des Transports du Quebec of upcoming road and lane closures that are necessary to carry out repair work on the Mercier Bridge.

Please note the following revision of closures scheduled this week:

�    Wednesday (tonight), August 31st between 8pm and 11pm.
      o    Closure of the Kahnaw�:ke bound lane to enlarge the opening of      the by-pass that will permit a better turning curve between the two bridges for detour purposes.

�    Thursday, September 1st.
      o    Closure of the Montreal bound lane for paving work from 8pm to 11pm. During this period, only the Kahnaw�:ke bound lane will be open to traffic.

      o    The Route 138 up ramp (Chateauguay) will be closed from 7:45pm to 11pm and the Route 132 west down ramp (La Prairie) will be closed from 7:45pm until 4:45am Friday with a detour via Route 207 (see attached map for details).
