TENDERS ARE PRESENTLY BEING SOUGHT FOR THE
2011-2012 ESSENTIAL SNOW REMOVAL PROGRAM
MOHAWK COUNCIL OF KAHNAW�:KE
SPECIAL PROJECTS, CLIENT BASED SERVICES

Snow removal contractors to perform snow plowing and shoveling at the residences of the elderly and disabled clients.

The successful contractor will provide the services from December 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012 and will perform the following duties:

�    Snow plowing for Essential Snow Removal Program (approximately 35 residences).
�    Snow plowing one pass down the driveway and shoveling of walkway, ramp and/or stairs.
�    Work to be carried out after 8cm of snow has accumulated.
�    Work performed in the early morning, specifically before scheduled appointments of priority clientele, 7 days per week and during day when conditions require.
�    Work should be complete within a maximum of six (6) hours.
�    Open to all snow clearing contractors with appropriate equipment, valid insurance coverage and valid driver�s license.  Minimum one million dollar commercial liability coverage required.
�    Tender must include copies of valid driver�s license, vehicle registration and insurance policy.
�    Will work in conjunction with the MCK Special Projects, Interim Assistant.
�    Priority will be given to Kahnawa�kehr�:non businesses.
�    The selected contractor must purchase Mohawk Self Insurance.

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke Special Projects, Client Based Services Division reserves the right to reject any and all bids and the lowest bid will not necessarily be accepted.

The sealed tender shall be submitted no later than 12:00 noon, on Friday, September 30, 2011 to the attention of Sandra Schurman, Interim Special Projects Assistant at the offices of the:
