New Legislative Newsletter now available

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that the newest edition of Onkwariwa�shon:�a is now completed and is being distributed via Canada Post.

Onkwariwa�shon:�a is has become the �Legislative Journal of record� for laws being proposed, discussed, amended, passed or rejected using the Community Decision Making Process, administered by the Kahnaw�:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission.

The new edition (Volume 2, Issue 1) includes updates on the proposed Justice Act, amendments to the Sanitary Conditions Law, the Kahnaw�:ke Membership Law, possible changes to the Kahnaw�:ke Election Law, as well as brief updates on other submissions for legislation.

Information on the Process itself is also included.

Copies have been placed in every Post Office Box. They are also available at the MCK main office or online at www.kahnawakemakingdecisions.com, or via link at www.kahnawake.com.
