Caution: Emptying of water filtration reservoir

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform the community that the Water Filtration plant reservoir is currently being emptied and is expected to last until late this evening, February 14th. The reservoir is being drained along the shoreline next to the Onake Paddling Club. During this time, anyone who frequents the area should avoid venturing onto the ice, as that amount of water may weaken the ice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
