Notice of the advanced poll

The 2012 Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke Elections Electoral Officer Timmy Norton would like to remind the community about the process for eligibility to vote in the Advanced Poll.  

The Advanced Poll takes place on Saturday, June 30th from 10am to 12 noon at the office of the Electoral Officer (former Environment Office next to Court House). The Poll is intended for anyone who is unable to vote on Election Day, which is scheduled for Saturday, July 7, 2012 from 9 am to 6 pm.

Those interested in taking part in the Advanced Poll must submit a written request to the Electoral Officer. As a public service, forms have been made available and can be picked up from the Electoral Officer or at the main reception of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake. Persons requesting to vote in the Advanced Poll can fill out the form and return it to the Electoral Officer no later than Thursday, June 28th at 10am.
