Electoral Officer Timmy Norton would like to remind the community that this Saturday, July 7th is Election Day in Kahnaw�:ke. The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke 2012 Elections take place at the Karonhian�nhnha School. The polls open at 9am and will close at 6pm.

Nineteen (19) Candidates are running for a Council Chief position and two (2) for Grand Chief.

"This is an important Election and it is everyone′s responsibility to get out and vote," said Timmy Norton, Electoral Officer.
