Artwork competition for design of Commendation Award

The Kahnaw�:ke Justice Unit is creating the annual Ratiianer�hstha Ne Onkwan�:takon Commendation Award (they do good for the community). This award is to recognize employees, members and volunteers of emergency services and public safety who distinguish themselves through performance that is above and beyond the routine call of duty, as well as individuals of the general public who provide assistance to the departments that is above and beyond normal civic duty. 

The Kahnaw�:ke Justice Unit is requesting that community members submit artwork that would reflect the concept of recognizing individuals who fit the criteria of the award while keeping in line with our unique culture. 

All artwork must be submitted by December 31, 2012 to the following address:

A committee will select the design from all those submitted and the author of the chosen design will be awarded two hundred dollars ($200.00).
