Curbside Leaf Pick-up service

The Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) is pleased to announce that a Curbside Leaf Pick-up service will take place on Tuesday, November 13th. Community members need to have their leaves bagged and curbside first thing in the morning.

The curbside leaf pickup is being carried out by Matrec (regular garbage pickup provider) and will accept the following types of bags:

         �    Clear bags
         �    Orange bags
         �    Paper bags

KEPO encourages community members to consider that fallen leaves are not garbage and, if possible, be used to shred and feed your lawn, made into mulch or composted.

It should also be noted that leaves will NOT be picked up by the regular weekly garbage pickup service.
