Membership information sessions continue Tuesday

The Membership Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke�s Social Development Unit wishes to invite community members to attend the fourth information session organized to review summary information on the Kahnaw�:ke Membership Law, the reviews of the law and the key issues. The session takes place tomorrow (Tuesday, November 27th) from noon to 1:30pm at the Kahnawake Shakotiia�takehnhas Community Services building.

The information sessions are part of a campaign to inform Kahnawa�kehr�:non on the Kahnaw�:ke Membership Law before it goes to the community for review and possible amendment on 24, Tsothohrk�:wa/January 2013.

Additionally, a video presentation is being prepared to highlight the need for the Membership Law to be reviewed by the community and to amend the law. Once completed, it will be available for viewing on Kahnawaketv.com, KTV and DVD. No official date of release has been announced at this time.
