Reminder - second Membership Law continuation meeting Wednesday evening

The Kahnaw�:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) would like to remind the community that an additional Community Consultation continuation meeting will be held on Wednesday to continue deliberations and discussions with the goal of reaching consensus on the first section of the amendments to the Kahnaw�:ke Membership Law.

Any persons who participated in any of the Group 3 discussions/ deliberations are once again invited to attend. Other community members, including participants in the other two groups, are also welcome to observe.

This special meeting will be held tomorrow (Wednesday, 1 Onerahtohk�:wa/May) from 6pm to 8:30pm at the MCK main offices. The KLCC is urging people to arrive between 5:45 and 5:55pm in order to address logistical concerns and start the meeting on time.

The next �full� Community Consultation, with all three groups, will be held on Thursday, 9 Onerahtohk�:wa/May.
