Reminder - Community Meeting Tuesday evening

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to remind Kahnawa�kehr�:non that a Community Meeting is taking place tomorrow at the Golden Age Club. The meeting will begin at 7pm, with the agenda as follows:

1.    Land allotments
2.    Presentation/update from Tewatohnhi�saktha (Revenue generation; small businesses; employment training)
3.    Update: presentations at Parliamentary Standing Committees  (S-16 �Tackling Contraband Tobacco� and S-2 Matrimonial Real Interests Federal legislation)
4.    Open Discussion

Community Meetings are currently being held monthly on a six-month trial basis.  The MCK will evaluate effectiveness and make a decision whether to continue the monthly format or return to the Seasonal/Special Community meetings at a later date.
