KEPO hosting Composting Workshop

The Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office would like to invite all community members to attend a Composting & Vermi-Composting Workshop on Monday, June 17th in the parking lot of the Kahnaw�:ke Services Complex.

The workshop will take place during the lunch hour between noon to 1pm and will feature a special guest presenter from Montreal′s environmental action program, Eco-Quartier, speaking on the subjects of composting and vermi-composting (worm composting).

As the workshop takes place during lunch, small snacks and beverages will be available free of charge. There will also be participation incentives, including counter-top compost collection bins and re-usable water bottles.

In the event of rain, the workshop will be moved to the Environment Protection Office on the Old Chateauguay Road.
