Mercier Bridge - Changes to Priority Bus Lane

The Kahnawake Mohawk Peacekeepers and the Community Protection Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to notify residents and motorists of a new configuration for the Priority Bus Lane through the detour road to the Montreal-bound Mercier Bridge. The changes are being made to improve safety.

The new configuration will only affect the Priority Bus Lane and NOT regular traffic heading to the Montreal-bound Mercier Bridge.

Once the changes are made, buses heading to Montreal via the Mercier Bridge will be directed to the Route 132 east service road, then to the Adirondack Junction/Clay Mountains area. Buses will then use the traffic lights to access the Route 132 up-ramp.


The community will be notified once the changes come into effect.
