Mercier Bridge � Complete closure of Rt. 138 up ramp tomorrow

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to remind road users that the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) will completely close the Route 138 up ramp to the Mercier Bridge from the Ch�teauguay direction towards Montreal tomorrow, Tuesday, November 5th from 10am to 4pm. Drivers will be detoured via the Route 132 up ramp from the La Prairie direction.

This closure is necessary in order to complete work started on the up ramp this past Saturday that could not be completed due to harsh weather conditions.

During this closure, road users are encouraged to use the Champlain, Victoria or Jacques Cartier Bridges, or the new section of Autoroute 30 to get to Montreal.
 
The MCK continues to remind the public that works/closures on the Mercier Bridge are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
