Freezing Rain Warning issued

The Community Protection Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to ensure that community members are prepared in the event of freezing rain conditions, which are being predicted this coming weekend. Very mild air is forecast to be over much of the province which will bring freezing rain to the region beginning early Saturday morning, January 11th.

Motorists are advised to use extra caution if driving in affected areas. Allow extra time to reach your destination and take the time to ensure all windows are clear of ice and snow.
