Hearings begin Tuesday for second draft of proposed Kahnawake Justice System Law

The Kahnaw�:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) wishes to remind the community that the Second Hearing for the proposed Kahnaw�:ke Justice System Law will begin tomorrow (Tuesday, January 21, 2014) at the Karonhian�nhnha School gymnasium from 6pm to 8:30pm.

The meeting is being held to discuss the Second Draft of the proposed law, which recently underwent a thirty-day community feedback period.

The document is available for viewing at kahnawakemakingdecisions.com , which is the KLCC website. Copies of the document are also available at the Court of Kahnaw�:ke and at the main offices of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke. 

Community members are strongly urged to view the document in preparation for the meeting. Copies of the law will also be provided on site
