Chief Gina Deer in London, England to participate in major gaming conference

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Chief Gina Deer is in London, England, to participate in the annual �ICE Totally Gaming Conference.�

The conference is taking place from Tuesday through Thursday, 4 to 6 Enn�ska/February. The event brings together gaming operators, regulators, service providers and testing agencies and includes discussion forums and networking opportunities.

Chief Deer, who holds the Gaming Portfolio, is attending for the second consecutive year. She will join with the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and Mohawk Internet Technologies to represent Kahnaw�:ke.

The community has had a major role in the on-line gaming industry from its earliest days. Since 1998, Mohawk Internet Technologies (MIT) and, later, Continent 8 Technologies, have combined to provide hosting and regulatory services to the industry. MIT, which is 100% owned by the Mohawks of Kahnaw�:ke, holds a 40% share in Continent 8 Technologies and maintains a strong partnership.
