Iroquois Caucus begins two-day meetings tomorrow - community invited to observe

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to remind Kahnawa�kehr�:non that the Iroquois Caucus will meet in Kahnaw�:ke tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday, 5-6 Enn�ska/February, 2014.

Agenda items include the First Nations Education Act; tobacco; health issues; and a proposed free trade agreement between the Caucus communities.

The meetings will be held at Maddie�s Place restaurant from 9am to 4pm both days. Community members are welcome to attend as observers.

The Iroquois Caucus consists of elected Councils from Kahnaw�:ke, Akwesasne, Kanesatake, Tyendinaga, Wahta, Six Nations and the Oneida of the Thames.
