Complete Kahnawake-bound closures on Mercier Bridge over 4 weekends

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform road users that the Minist�re des Transports du Qu�bec will close both Kahnaw�:ke-bound lanes of the Mercier Bridge for repair work on the structural elements under the bridge on following dates:
- Friday, March 14th, 10pm, to Monday, March 17th, 5am;
- Friday, March 28th, 10pm, to Monday, March 31st, 5am;
- Friday, April 11th, 10pm, to Monday, April 14th, 5am;
- Friday, April 18th, 10pm, to Monday, April 21st, 5am.
Please note that only the two Montreal-bound lanes will remain open to traffic.
The one way configuration will ensure road users safety in case of bad weather and will facilitate snow removal and de-icing operations that might be required. These operations cannot be properly performed with contraflow traffic due to inadequate width of the lanes for snow removal vehicles.
Other lane closures might be necessary for such work in the coming weeks.
The MCK reminds the public that works/closures on the Mercier Bridge are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
