MTQ announces additional weekend closure of Kahnawake-bound lanes of Mercier Bridge

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform road users that the Minist�re des Transports du Qu�bec is scheduling closures of Kahnaw�:ke-bound lanes of the Mercier Bridge this weekend that begin tomorrow (Friday) on the following schedule:

- Closure of one Kahnaw�:ke-bound lane - Friday, March 21st from 7am to 11am (to prepare for the weekend closure)

- Closure of both Kahnaw�:ke-bound lanes � Friday, March 21st from 10pm until Monday, March 24th at 5am. (Only the two Montreal-bound lanes will remain open to traffic)

These closures are in addition to the previously announced weekend closures, to allow for scheduled repair work of the structural elements under the bridge. The remaining closures are scheduled for:

- Friday, March 28th, 10pm, to Monday, March 31st, 5am;

- Friday, April 11th, 10pm, to Monday, April 14th, 5am;

- Friday, April 18th, 10pm, to Monday, April 21st, 5am.

The MCK reminds the public that works/closures on the Mercier Bridge are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
