Grand Chief meeting today with Aboriginal Affairs Minister Geoff Kelley

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Grand Chief Michael Ahr�hron Delisle, Jr. is meeting today with new Quebec Minister of Aboriginal Affairs Geoff Kelley.

The agenda will focus on the renewal of the relationship between the MCK and Minister Kelley, who held the same portfolio from 2005-2007. Additionally, there will be some discussion on the Kateri Memorial Hospital project and its related labor component, as well as the possible effects the of the federal C-33 First Nations education legislation on both Kahnaw�:ke and Quebec.

The meeting will be held in Montreal.
