Draft Kahnawake Family Homes Law available for viewing at KLCC website

The Kahnaw�:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission would like to inform the community that the new draft of the proposed Kahnaw�:ke Family Homes Law is now available for viewing at www.kahnawakemakingdecisons.com, which is the KLCC website.

Community members are asked to review the documents. Comments can be forwarded to Paul Nicholas, the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke technician in charge of the file, at 450-632-7500 or by email at paul.nicholas@mck.ca.

No date has been formally announced for the next Hearing on this proposed law which, as required, is using the Community Decision Making Process. However, it is hoped that the next meeting will be held in September.
