Suspect Sought in Attempted Murder

The Kahnawake Peacekeepers have obtained a warrant for the arrest of a suspect in connection with this week-end�s attempted murder in Kahnawake.

36 year old Fran�ois Theoret-Proulx of Montreal is considered armed and dangerous.



Theoret-Proulx  is wanted on charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, kidnapping and forcible confinement.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred on the territory in the early morning hours of November 2, 2014, involving a resident of Ch�teauguay.

Theoret-Proulx is driving a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt, black in colour, with a rear spoiler, Qu�bec license plate P09-FCA.

The S�ret� Du Qu�bec was on the territory earlier today, assisting the Peacekeepers with the gathering of evidence, using specialized equipment.
