MCK issues statement on community meeting called for Sunday morning

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform community members that Chief & Council has been made aware of a meeting regarding the recent lawsuit brought against the MCK to take place on Sunday, November 9th.

The MCK wishes to make clear that this meeting is being organized by a group of concerned community members and not by the MCK. This meeting should not be confused with the MCK�s regular seasonal Community Meetings.

While the MCK is not organizing the event, it reminds Kahnawa�kehr�:non to please be respectful on this matter and remain patient while the legal proceedings take place.
