Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic dates announced

The Animal Protection Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke has received confirmation for the next set of dates for Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinics for cats and dogs. Clinics will be held by appointment only on the following dates:
 
�    Wednesday, April 1st, 15th, and 29th 
�   
Wednesday, May 13th and 27th 
� 
   Wednesday, June 10th and 17th   
 
A maximum of 5 dog and 5 cat procedures will be performed each day. Prices vary according to the weight and sex of the animal.
 
Animals can be dropped off at the Community Protection Unit building by 11am to be transported to the Timberlea Veterinary Clinic in Kirkland at an additional cost of $15 for residents and $20 for non-residents. Pet owners are asked to provide their own cages and carriers.

All services are provided at a significantly reduced rate but scheduling an appointment and a $20 deposit is required to reserve your place. All fees are the responsibility of the pet owner.

Please note there is also a $20 annual Kahnaw�:ke Protection Membership fee for non-residents. This membership gives access to all clinics throughout the year.
