Consultant undertaking field work in the Recreation Bay

The Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) would like to inform the community that technicians with Hydrosoft SA will carry out field work for the 2015 Recreation Bay Modeling Project from Tuesday, April 28th until Sunday, May 31st.

The technicians will be in the field with a community representative, to measure flows, complete a survey of the bottom of the bay, and collect sediment samples. Information gathered during the fieldwork will determine the optimal solution to sedimentation issues in the bay.

This work is part of a larger effort by KEPO to characterize the Bay.

Follow up assessments will take place in the coming weeks. Dates will be provided when available.
