Additional Spring Animal Vaccination Clinic announced

The Animal Protection Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke is pleased to announce an additional Spring Animal Vaccination Clinic to tentatively be held Sunday, June 7th from 9am to 1pm at the Community Protection Unit building. A minimum of twelve appointments must be booked in advance for the clinic to take place.

Interested parties should contact Deidra Whyte at Animal Protection as soon as possible to book an appointment at (450) 632-0635.

A registered veterinarian will be on-site to provide check-up, vaccination and preventative services for cats and dogs provided at a lower cost than at a veterinarian office plus administration fees of $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents (plus a $20 annual membership fee for non-residents). All fees are the responsibility of the pet owner.

There have been confirmed cases of Lyme disease and heart-worm in Kahnawą:ke animals. Please help prevent the contraction of these diseases and protect your pets by vaccinating.
