Pete�s Pest Management not approved or certified by MCK

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke�s Department of Occupational Safety & Health (KDOSH) wishes to inform the community that it is taking action to correct information that appears in an advertisement in the June 5th edition of the Eastern Door.

The advertisement for �Pete�s Pest Management� states that the company is approved and certified in part by �Health and Safety Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke.�

This is the second time that the company has made this claim. A community notice was issued last year in regard to questionable advertising by this company.

KDOSH wishes to clarify that it does not certify or approve products or services. What KDOSH does, among other duties, is perform inspections to verify compliance with safety and health regulations.
