Weekend closures scheduled by both JCCBI and MTQ

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform road users that both the Jacques Cartier & Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) and the Minist�re des Transport du Quebec (MTQ) will be closing parts of the Mercier bridge this weekend, including a complete closure of the Montreal-bound lanes.

Beginning at 3am, Saturday, August 15th until 5am, Monday August 17th, the Route 132 up-ramp from the La Prairie Direction will be closed (detour via 138) and traffic flow on the span will be reduced to one lane in each direction.

The MTQ will also close the both Montreal-bound lanes from 1am until 8am (7hours) in the early morning hours of Sunday August 16th to complete work on the Monette overpass on the LaSalle side of the bridge.

The Kahnawake/southbound side of the bridge will be open to traffic during this time.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
