Agenda set for next Tuesday�s Hearing for Amendments to Membership Law

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Hearings for proposed amendments to the Kahnaw�:ke Membership Law will resume next Tuesday, 15 Seskehk�:wa/September at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
Items to be discussed include:
- The Registrar (Section 5)
- The Kahnaw�:ke Kanien�keh�:ka Registry (Section 6)
- Review any related Definitions in Section 4
�We hope the turnout will be as impressive as it�s been for the first couple of meetings that were held prior to the election,� said Membership Portfolio Chief Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer. �So far, the community has been very diligent in working towards making the changes to make the law more efficient. We hope to regain the momentum we had seen this past spring.�
