Waste Management Plan consultation results presentation

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke�s Environment Protection Office wishes to remind Kahnawa�kehr�:non that it is holding a meeting tonight to present results compiled from community consultations on the proposed Kahnaw�:ke Waste Management Plan (the Plan), which took place in November and December, 2015.

The meeting takes place at the Golden Age Club from 6:30 to 8:30pm.

The Plan is based on Kahnaw�:ke�s long-standing objectives to reduce waste, improve efficiency in its recycling program and increase composting initiatives.

The Plan includes an extensive summary of the Environment Office�s current projects and their related costs, as well as its future plans.
