Suspect in custody in connection with several local robberies

The Kahnawake Mohawk Peacekeepers have a suspect in custody in connection with several local robberies.

44 year old Serge �Junior� Tremblay was apprehended without incident on Thursday, February 18, at approximately 17:53 on the Old Malone Highway.

Tremblay has been charged with 15 offences, including two counts of robbery, assault causing bodily harm, forcible confinement, two counts of fraud, and breech of probation.

Tremblay is scheduled to appear in Longueuil Court this afternoon.
