NO MONTREAL-BOUND ACCESS on Mercier Bridge this weekend

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) has been informed that the Ministère des Transports will completely close the Montreal-bound direction of the Mercier Bridge from Friday, March 18th at 10pm until Monday, March 21st at 5am.

Additionally, both Route 132 and 138 upramps towards Montreal will be closed. Both Kahnawà:ke-bound lanes will remain open and there will be NO ACCESS TOWARDS MONTREAL.

The closure is required to carry out repairs to the structure that was damaged from an accident on February 18th.

Road users must utilize another bridge to access the island of Montreal.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
