Mark Jocks re-appointed to Kahnawake Gaming Commission Chair

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that Mark Jocks has been re-appointed to the position of Chairperson/Commissioner for the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC) at a duly convened Council meeting on Tuesday, March 29, 2016. The term is for two (2) years, expiring on March 31, 2018.

�We have been fortunate to have someone of Mark Jocks� caliber continue to fill the very demanding role of Chairperson,� said Gaming Portfolio Chief Gina Deer. �Mark′s extensive experience in the online gaming industry, including regulatory support and information technologies makes us very confident in our choice to re-appoint.�

The appointment passed with one objection by Iets�nhaienhs Arlene Jacobs.

The KGC consists of three voting Commissioners who are appointed by the MCK based on staggered terms. Mr. Jocks re-joins the other current Commissioners, Lori Jacobs and Melanie Mayo.
