Chiefs attending major iGaming conference in San Francisco

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Grand Chief Joseph Tokwiro Norton and Gaming Portfolio Chief Gina Deer will be in San Francisco this week to participate in �GIGse 2016,� which addresses the online gaming industry in the regulated U.S. market.

The conference takes place from Wednesday to Friday, April 27 to 29.

This year�s focus is expected to be on technology and the so-called �millennial generation (Generation Y).� Presentations and panel discussions include the rise of eSports and the millennials; regulatory updates on sports betting; millennial engagement strategies; the Launch Pad (latest technologies and innovations); and new gaming environments that bridge the gap between the online and offline space.

�The world of eGaming is always evolving,� said Chief Deer. �It is clearly in our best interest to participate in events where the major players gather to discuss the innovations and address the issues.�

The GIGse iGaming summit and exposition is widely considered one of the most important annual conferences of its type in the world.
