Reminder - Tree Giveaway Today

The Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) would like to remind Kahnawa�kehr�:non that the Annual Tree Giveaway is taking place today (Monday, May 16th) from 9am until 3pm at the Green Space between the Golden Age Club and the rink.

Approximately 1500 trees are available for planting in the community. The trees are donated by the Ministry of Forests, Fauna and Parks, and are distributed by the 4H Clubs of Quebec. Community members may take up to five (5) trees per household.

KEPO is urging community members to drop by as early as possible due to high demand. Please bring a bag or bucket to transport the trees.
