Kahnawake hosting Iroquois Caucus meetings this week

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that Kahnaw�:ke will be the site of the Iroquois Caucus meetings that will be held this Wednesday and Thursday, 22-23 Ohiar�:ha/June at the Host Hotel.

Agenda items include Tobacco; Hunting & Fishing; the Assembly of First Nations/Iroquois Caucus Protocol Agreement; and updates on various summits that are in the planning stages.

This is the first time the meetings have been held in Kahnaw�:ke since Enn�ska/February 2014.

The Iroquois Caucus consists of elected Councils from Kahnaw�:ke, Akwesasne, Kanesatake, Tyendinaga, Wahta, Six Nations and the Oneidas of the Thames.
