Partial Water shut-off and Road Closure on Old Malone Highway

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform all Kahnawa′kehr�:non that a portion of the main water line on the Old Malone Highway will be turned off and a portion of road from the funeral parlor to the labor office will be temporary closed today (August 9) until 3:30pm. 

The Capital crews are replacing old water and sewer pipes which require the main water service to be turned off in order to complete the required works. Detours will be clearly posted to allow for traffic circulation. Water service will be returned as soon as possible and the road will re-open by the end of the day.
